Compliance with good clinical practice is mandatory for all clinical trials conducted in the EU. There guidelines develop the Good Clinical Practice requirements that are specific to clinical trials for ATMPs. It covers several areas, including quality of the investigational ATMPs, retention of samples and protection of clinical trial subjects.
